Banana, The Atheist Nightmare?

This is great!

Our Godless Constitution

Muslim Brotherhood: 1st Grader Exposes Religion and Politics

What this kid says can be applied to American politics and Christianity.  Religion in politics is something our founding fathers warned us against and yet Republicans are determined to ignore the founding fathers and mix religion with politics; of course ONLY the Christian religion because everyone else is wrong.  Look at the Christian Republican control in North Carolina that cares nothing for those in need, but are happy to provide benefit to the rich (preferable white Christians).

Christian Gov. Pat McCrory (R) and Christian Republicans Hurting Families

Apparently, the Christian Republicans that follow Jesus and represent the people of North Carolina believe that Jesus would want over 170,000 families lose federal unemployment benefits and likely cause many to go without food, medical care and even lose their homes so they stopped such benefits from going to those families.  Christian Gov. Pat McCrory supports the bill.

Personally, I think this is just another Christian Republican playing politics and ignoring the real need of families.  I wonder what they are planning to do next with this love of Jesus they have in their hearts?  I would pray that harm came to those leaders but since I am not a Christian Republican I don't have that vindictive, hateful nature.

Anything Obama tries to do to help Americans that are suffering, Christian Republicans will try to destroy.  Just out of their hateful and vindictive nature.  As we've heard leading republicans say, their goal is to destroy Obama.

I hope that people of the State of North Carolina will wake up and stop voting for the political groups that commonly vote for big oil, big insurance, big medicine and consistently vote against the American people.   These are the same people that voted for and pushed for a war based on lies that has put us in the situation we are currently in.

Ever notice how Christian appear to do that opposite of what Jesus would do and completely ignore what Jesus instructed.

Matthew 19:21
Jesus answered, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."

Mark 10:21
Jesus looked at him and loved him. "One thing you lack," he said. "Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."

Luke 6:30
"Give to everyone that asketh thee; and from him that taketh away thy goods ask not again."
Hey Gov. Pat McCrory, over 170,000 people are asking for federal benefits but unlike Jesus, you prefer they suffer.

Luke 12:33
"Sell your possessions and give to the poor."

Luke 14:33
"Any of you who does not give up everything he has cannot be my disciple."

Notice, Christians don't follow these words from their God.  Especially Christian Republicans.  Instead, they make excuses and do the opposite of what Jesus would do.  Jesus would help others, not harm them.

Christians don't seem to understand or believe the following scripture:
Mark 10:25
"It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."

Hey Pat McCrory, do you understand what rich means in the time of Jesus?  You know, a man that owned a pair of sandals and clothes on his back and anything more meant you were basically rich.   These Christians don't seem to realize that this scripture is saying it is impossible for them to get into heaven.

Luke 6:24-25
"But woe unto you that are rich! For ye have received your consolation. Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep."

We could demonstrate more through scripture but Christian Republicans like Pat McCrory wouldn't give a shit what scripture says,,,,,they care only for what they want.

The Light At The End Of The Tunnel

This reminds me of a new movie that just came out called Rapture Palooza which is about what takes place on earth during and after the rapture...it looks pretty funny.  I am surprised I haven't heard the religious groups going out and protesting this one.  This one is far more controversial than Life of Brian or the Holy Grail.  Maybe I just haven't noticed much on the new lately.  Praise the train at the end of the tunnel!!!

Results From Prayer

A man tells a woman that Jesus can heal/raise the dead.  The results were predictable in that we all know that Jesus didn't do that in which he was asked to do.  Even though his word promises to do so.  I guess the other predictable result was that a person that once believed completely in this Jesus God, realized he was fooled.
“After a moment’s hesitation, I spoke to the mother. I told her I believe there is a God that can raise the dead. I told her there is power in the name of Jesus. I asked her if she believed too and if I could pray for her baby. She said yes. So, with everyone looking on, I knelt before this beautiful, lifeless child and begged God to raise her from the dead in the name of Jesus. You know what happened? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. I was left with only being able to say that no one understands the mind of God or His will…truly empty words in my mouth and heart (not to mention the mother’s).
So, here is where I am.  I’m left with doubts, fears, and even anger. I prayed. I trusted. I put my neck out. What’s more, I put Jesus’ name out there and He didn’t show up. … The baby is still dead. The mother is still lost in hopelessness and despair. And now I look like a fool and the name of Jesus is a joke.

Religion nor God Protects our Children

No, religions, especially the Christian version is not too concerned with protecting our children.  If they were, there wouldn't be an endless list of children being harmed by Christian establishments.
Police are investigating allegations of abuse at a Catholic boarding school in the Scottish Highlands, following complaints of a brutal regime in which boys were physically beaten, psychologically tortured and sexually assaulted. The school closed in 1993.

Don't blame the Christian if you believe the bible.  The one to blame is God himself.  He "created the wicked for the day of evil" and in fact, God says "I create evil".  If God didn't want children to be molested, he has the power to stop it as he is watching it take place.  Yet he doesn't.  If God doesn't want a child to be molested then he could have not be the "potter" that "formed a vessel for dishonor".  Yet God proudly claims that he is the potter and the he himself planned everything and that it is ALL according to his will.

If you ask me, this Christian God is rather sick.  What moral, compassionate being would stand by and watch children being molested and having all the power to stop it, do NOTHING!?  Clearly, not moral!!
